The tubs have a warranty for 2 years. The Smirthwaite fixed height table has a 2 year warranty and the Sova Ascent has a 5 year warranty. The AstorBannerman changing tables, the Invincible, the CTX, the CTM3, the Nivano CTE3, have a 3 year warranty against all defects in manufacturing.To maintain the warranty, the equipment must be checked and serviced regularly. A checklist will be included in your user manual. The tables have high quality components and are designed to have a 10 year service life with average usage and annual maintenance checks.

You can clean it with most mild cleaning agents or warm soapy water solution, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth. These must be cleaned between users to prevent risk of infection or cross contamination.

The Nivano CTE3 would be a good choice since it is height adjustable, wall mounted, and the least expensive electric table. It is the work horse, has been around for years, and will do the job for a very long time. It is UL compliant and is IPX4 rated, meaning it can withstand exposure to moisture making it perfect for shower or wet rooms.

The CTX table is designed for showering and changing people with disabilities. It comes with a water tray attached to the stretcher, to collect the water, a padded top with drain holes, and a drain hose.

The Invincible table is the one for public restrooms since it is vandal proof, tamperproof, and designed for high usage. It has no removable components. It is UL compliant, the stretcher is IX10 rated, meaning it’s resistant to high impact and sharp objects, and IPX4 rated, meaning it can withstand exposure to water with out damaging the electronic components.

The electric height adjustable changing tables will be the most expensive. The Manual height adjustable table, the CTM3, Is the least expensive height adjustable table available. The CTM3 allows you to adjust the height to the most comfortable for the caregiver from 31” to 43”. But, the caregiver will still be lifting their person onto the table, unless there is a patient lift available. The least expensive wall mounted table would be the Fixed height table. The table will be permanently fixed at the desired height. Again, the caregiver will be lifting their person themselves unless there is a patient lift available. But this does provide a durable, wall mounted table for changing if you have limited budget.
